2016 AJS CADWELL

This is bike a classic homage to 1960s British cafe racers by the inheritors of the famous British motorcycle company, AJS (1909-1931). See, https://www.ajsmotorcycles.co.uk/cadwell-125. Background: I bought this bike in August 2016 from Peterborough Motorcycles (no longer in business, I believe) due to my interest in 1950s-60s rockers subculture, the Ace Cafe London, and films like the Leather Boys (1964), Some People (1962), etc., but sadly I hardly ever rode it due to aspects of my life I will not disclose here. It has long been forgotten in shed storage for close to 9 years. I want someone to give this bike the love and journeys it deserves. The photos of the bike don't do it justice to how amazing it looks in person. Including how the sun sparkles off the silver paint work. Sadly, the photos on MotoDealer are downsized. Details: Hardly used, very low mileage. The bike is non-running, therefore, cannot be ridden from place of sale - will need van transport. As such, I have listed the bike under priced to compensate for all of this. The bike will need a loving revival, that shouldn't take long as it has only been in long-term storage. The bike will require servicing and inspection (certainly will need): - Battery (but you can have one I removed from bike that I have in storage) - Fuel-system cleaning and potentially fuel tank. - Tyre checks (unlike rear wheel, front wheel has had contact with the floor in one place without regular rotation while in storage). - Potentially, brake-fluid and oil changes. - Around engine key hole and fuel tank lid there is masking tape residue, this was due to me covering these areas with tape while in storage to reduce moisture entering these areas. Bike will come with owners manual pack, extra spare key, and vintage AJS enamel key ring. Cylinder capacity is 123cc, thus legal with L plates.
