Terms of Service

MotoDealer is a UK motorcycle valuation and community platform operated by MotoDealer Ltd (“MotoDealer”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the site at motodealer.co.uk you accept these terms.

MotoDealer offers free motorcycle valuations powered by AI, public bike profiles, a personal garage, watchlists, and community features such as comments and reactions. Valuations are estimates, not appraisals or binding offers, and may differ from market prices, dealer trade-in offers, or insurance values.

• You need a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and any activity on it.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or 16 with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• One person per account. Don't share, sell, or transfer access.

Content you post (bikes, photos, comments, valuations) remains yours. By posting it you grant MotoDealer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, cache, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service.

You promise that content you post:

• Belongs to you, or you have permission to share it.
• Is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• Doesn't infringe anyone's rights, contain malware, or break UK law.

Don't use MotoDealer to:

• List stolen vehicles, mislead about provenance, or facilitate fraud.
• Harass, abuse, dox, or threaten other users.
• Post hateful, sexual, or illegal content.
• Scrape, automate, or stress-test the service without written consent.
• Circumvent rate limits, security features, or our admin team.

We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that breach these rules, at our sole discretion.

MotoDealer does not facilitate payments, hold funds, or escrow sales. “Buyer interest” messages simply forward to the owner. Any sale, exchange of money, transfer of paperwork (V5C), or test ride is strictly between the buyer and the owner. We are not party to those transactions and accept no liability for them.

When you request a valuation you give us your email address and phone number. We use them to send you the valuation and, where you have accepted these terms, we may share them together with your motorcycle's details (make, model, year, mileage, condition and area) with MotoDealer's vetted buying partners — motorcycle dealers in our network — so that they can contact you with an offer.

Partners receive your details only after paying to access the enquiry, and only a limited number of partners can access any single enquiry. They may contact you by phone or email about buying your motorcycle. You are never obliged to sell, respond, or accept any offer.

You can withdraw at any time by emailing info@brucy.io. We will stop sharing your details and ask partners who already have them to delete them. Enquiries older than 30 days are removed from the partner network automatically.

MotoDealer uses external services to enrich your experience. By using the service you accept that:

• Vehicle data may come from the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service. We display what they return; we don't guarantee accuracy.
• Postcode and location lookups use postcodes.io.
• AI-powered valuations use OpenAI. Prompts contain the bike details you provide; we do not send your email or name.

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, MotoDealer Ltd is not liable for:

• Losses arising from reliance on AI valuations.
• Disputes, fraud, or losses arising from transactions between users (see Section 6).
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses of any kind.

Our total liability for any claim is capped at £100 or the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or stop providing the service with reasonable notice.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the site or by email. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
